Bis(benzothiazol-2-ylmethyl)amine
In the title compound, C(16)H(13)N(3)S(2), the dihedral angle between the two benzothia-zole ring systems is 20.41 (2)°. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds link mol-ecules into a chain along the b axis. The packing is further stabilized by C-H⋯π stacking inter-actions involving the two benzothia-zole ring systems.

The Hg atom in the title complex, [HgCl(2)(C(12)H(13)N(3))], adopts a square-pyramidal geometry, being ligated by three N atoms of the tridentate bis-(2-pyridylmeth-yl)amine ligand and two Cl atoms, with one of the latter occupying the apical position. Disorder is noted in the amine portion of the ligand and this was modelled over two sites, with the major component having a site-occupancy fact...
متن کاملTrimetallic magnesium complexes bearing amine-bis(benzotriazole phenolate) derivatives as bifunctional catalysts for ring-opening polymerization and CO2/epoxide coupling.
New trimetallic magnesium complexes were synthesized for bifunctional catalysis. Complex catalysed ε-caprolactone polymerizations in not only a 'living' manner but also in an 'immortal' fashion. Additionally, tri-Mg was active for the coupling of CO(2) with cyclohexene oxide (CHO) on addition of n-Bu(4)NBr co-catalysts to give cis-cyclohexene carbonate under mild conditions.
متن کاملN,N-Bis(2,6-difluorobenzyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine
In the title compound, C(16)H(11)F(4)N(3)S, the dihedral angles between the thia-diazole ring and the difluorobenzyl rings are 81.95 (7) and 81.96 (7)°, whereas the dihedral angle between the difluorobenzyl rings is 11.41 (7)°. In the crystal structure, C-H⋯N and C-H⋯F inter-actions link the mol-ecules into two-dimensional arrays parallel to the bc plane.
